What We Do
Sifiso Learning Group (Pty) Limited is a private education group focused on the development of an African-centred education ecosystem. Through our entities, we create and develop content, tools and learning environments that enable the effective participation of stakeholders in this ecosystem.
Management

Sizwe Nxasana BCom, BCompt (Hons), CA(SA), PhD (PBL)
Dr Sizwe Nxasana is the founder and CEO of Future Nation Schools and Sifiso Learning Group. He is the chairman of Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) which funds and supports students pursuing occupations in critical skills from ’missing middle’ backgrounds. He founded Sizwe & Co, KwaZulu-Natal’s first black audit firm, in 1989, and in 1996 he became the founding partner of Nkonki Sizwe Ntsaluba, now SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG Grant Thornton). He is the co-founder and chairman of the National Education Collaboration Trust (NECT) as a response to the call by the National Development Plan (NDP) for increased collaboration among stakeholders to improve educational outcomes. He was the chairperson of NSFAS between 2015 and 2018. Nxasana was the CEO of the FirstRand Banking Group for 10 years and before that the CEO of Telkom SA for 8 years. He is the director of the Solidarity Fund and chairs the Fundraising Committee.
In May 2025, Dr Nxasana was awarded a PhD, with a focus on Project-Based Learning, from Aalborg University’s UNESCO PBL Centre in Denmark. He also holds honorary doctorates from the Universities of Fort Hare, the Durban University of Technology, the University of Johannesburg and the Walter Sisulu University.

Mrs Mampho Langa
Mampho Langa is the Head of Schools at Future Nation Schools. She is founding Head of African School for Excellence. She was Head of Academics at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls (OWLAG) where she started as founding Head of the Department of Mathematics, Science, Computers and Technology in January 2007. Before joining OWLAG she served as Project Manager of the South African Actuaries Development Programme (SAADP) in the School of Actuarial Science and Statistics at Wits University from 2004 to 2006. During the same period, she also worked as a part-time Mathematics Education lecturer in the BSc (hons) and B.Ed. (hons) programs at Wits University. From 1987 to 2003, she served as a Mathematics teacher and Head of the Mathematics Department at Matseliso Senior Secondary school in Soweto. In 2002 she won an award for the most improved results in the district in mathematics and 2003 she won an award for the most outstanding Mathematics Higher Grade results in the Gauteng district 12. In 2008 she was awarded an honorary membership of the Golden Key International Honour society. She is also an author to Platinum Mathematics grade 7 to 9.

Nkanyezi is the CFO of Sifiso Learning Group and the CEO of Future Nation Schools. She holds an Honours degree in Finance and Accounting from The University of Cape Town and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Prior to joining Sifiso Learning Group, Nkanyezi was a transactor at Ethos Private Equity and at J.P. Morgan Chase, in the Johannesburg Corporate Finance division.
