Johannesburg 9 January 2025: Sifiso Learning Group (SLG) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Nkanyezi Makhari as the Chief Executive Officer of Future Nation Schools (FNS), effective January 2025. This leadership transition marks an exciting new chapter for FNS as it continues its mission to inspire and empower students to become the next generation of African leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Nkanyezi, who joined SLG in 2028, also retains her position as SLG Chief Financial Officer, brings a wealth of experience, innovative thinking and a commitment to excellence. Her vision aligns seamlessly with FNS’s goal to revolutionise education in South Africa and beyond. Commenting on her appointment, Nkanyezi expressed her enthusiasm:

Sizwe Nxasana, Founder and CEO of SLG, remains at the helm of the group and continues to oversee strategy across its entities, including FNS. He will focus on driving the growth of Future Nation College and Sifiso EdTech, both of which are making a significant impact on improving education in South Africa.
